I did mop up all the oil, even had it steam cleaned at a repair shop. I leave the top spark plug cover off now, and there has been no oil up there. I am sure the PCV hoses are correctly routed, how could you even rig them incorrectly, I saw only one way for them to fit. I have a new oil filler cap, really tight seal up there, no oil from the PCV hose. And for several weeks of around town driving, there was no smoke, no smell, no oil. I was amazed because the old PCV had no blockage, so it didn't make sense that the new PCV was going to alleviate any pressure blockage. I figured the waste-gate vacuum line was the real culprit, as I had also replaced two turbo vacuum lines, and the boost behavior seemed different after that.
since a 4 hour road trip it's started smoking and has oil all over the engine rear , little drips and a thin coat of oil. And this burned area up by the manifold.
