I have the factory racks. The only issue I have is noise. However, I do not have a faring or anything else that would lessen the noise. They are extremely easy to put on and take off (it only takes maybe 5 minutes to put them on and a little less to take them off). The best thing about them is that they screw right into the frame of the car through the gutter. Therefore, the racks never touch the paint. I didn't even check out after market racks for this feature alone.
