This is an update after speaking with VCNA and VIP.

According to VIP, the ABS Control Unit is not covered.

So, I called Volvo Customer Care and talked with a rep.

I told this rep my problem, mentioning that I have a

resource of people who are also experiencing this problem

with their 850's. The rep took down my information, VIN

and the dealer which is servicing my car. He said

he is going to hand this off to a Regional Manager and

that I should expect a call.

I will keep everyone up to date on this issue as the

details unfold.
