Steering Vibration under Acceleration S60

Obviously no one who is not observing directly can know the situation but I've had various makes of cars where a driveshaft joint started to fail and there was something other than clicking - maybe no sound, maybe a squeak, maybe a judder or thud time to time. For FWD cars almost always related to application of torque and or steering l or r as you have reported.
