Here we are trying to figure out how much clothing we can take off and still be 'decent'.
Probably on of the control flaps died. You will have to take out the glove box to see anything. There are several dampers, each with a black box motor. What you need to determine first is that the motors still work. Feel for light vibration, radio off and engine off, as you run through the air control switch from defrost to heat.
The main culprit is a large damper with a plastic catch (behind the motor, of course). Once the plastic breaks, the damper no longer turns. There have been those who glued the plastic back on and used bailing wire with success.
Remember, do NOT take a motor off and run it. That is instant death to a motor, and a dealer wants $250 each.
