Tight throttle 850 1995

My gas pedal is very tight (since the weather getting cold). What I meant is, you need to press very hard to break free from your current pedal position. The pedal releases ok and no sticking at high RPM though. Also, the pedal feel is normal when the engine is off. What could have cause this? Anything I can lube?
