How funny. I purchased my 97 850 T5 from my father. He had all service done regularly at 5k intervals. The door locks showed up on three receipts, each of which they replaced the batteries only. In all cases the service report says it will lock but not unlock!

I know I can not successfully recode them according to the book or chiltons. I gave up on them.

Good luck, I'll keep an eye on this thread. Did you replace your controls per the other suggestion? Did it work for you? How much?
