Try Craig's list and ebay. A LOT of brick owners get winter wheels and tires and keep them when they get rid of their car.

My best buy was 4 wheels and tires for $5 on ebay. A lot of large and heavy items get few bids because the shipping is too high. I once got a starter and generator for my 1800 for $1 & $2!

As for The tires & wheels, after I loaded them in my car, the guy even suggested that I keep the five bucks!
