Coolant and brake fluid need to be flushed every few years. Even Volvo antifreeze breaks down after a while. Never flush?, only if you plan to buy a new car...

As for the annoying service light, search on the brickboard for a way to turn it off. Use the search box on the right side of the page when you go back to the index.
