fault code problems & ?'s 850 1994

Hi Group:

We've got a '94 850 Turbo (USA model) with almost 75,000 miles. I gave the car a major tune-up at 70,000. Recently, the check engine light came on and I read the fault codes as follows:

A1 (auto trans) 1-1-1, all OK

A2 (fuel system) 2-3-2, too lean or rich at idle, reset to 1-1-1

A3 (ABS) 1-1-1, all OK

A6 (ignition) no response, no codes read

A7 (inst. panel) 1-1-1, even though trip computer has died

B1 (climate control) no response, no codes read

B2 (cruise control) 1-2-2, I don't know that code, can't reset

B5 (SRS) 1-1-1, all OK

B6 (power seats) 1-1-1, all OK

Now for the questions:

**********

When I reset A2, the check engine light went out, but of course, I didn't actually fix anything. Can I safely assume we need a new O2 sensor? Is there only one (that's all I've seen), and can I get one somewhere other than a Volvo dealer? To my knowledge, that's the original sensor. It seems as though the idle is a bit rough, too.

**********

What does code 1-2-2 mean for the cruise control? Why can't it be reset?

**********

Why do I get no codes from A6 and B1? Those terminals have worked for me in the past and I have read codes from them.

**********

Thanks in advance for the help any of you may offer. Please send a copy to my e-mail, as I sometimes miss the postings to the board.

Regards,

Dean
