Yep, I had the exact same problem as you did on my '95 850 Turbo. Winter weather finally came into our area about a month ago and that's when my transmission had a 1st gear sticking problem when cold (usually, the first start of the day). It would shift out of first after it warmed up. Followed the advice of the posters on here and had my transmission flushed and completely refilled with new fluid and the problem has since disappeared (and it's gotten even colder now that it's December). Do the flush first and see if that helps before you go and plunk down for a new tranny (yikes!!).
