yes you have to take the paneling off to remove the control module which snaps into place. Look for a square plastic cover on the window panel, snap that out, remove the screw underneath and I think one or two others on the wall panel. Everything comes apart easily. Loosen it all up so the module will unsnap from its position and swing out for access to the relay.
