because the phone was attached to the car, the vibrations on the lense will match the cars vibrations - no blurr. In Texas, on I-10, that speed would be perfectly legal and probably too slow for the rest of the traffic.

Did you realize that 120mph = 200Kph. A little faster and you would have 200 on both instruments!!! A little scarey and a pricey ticket...
