I installed the IPD mount a few months ago. The toughest part was getting the two halves of the mount to squeeze together inside the bracket without any type of press or anything. I used a vise and some dish soap around the edge and it worked. I cut the old one out with a hacksaw. Frankly, I never really noticed that the old one was broken, so it probably had been so for a few years. After reading on many occasions in these threads of folks who have gone through several of the OEM mounts, the IPD mount is solid and will most likely never need replacing. I do feel a little more vibration now with the new mount but it is not bothersome.
