Your car was delivered with synthetic. Yes, even NA engines can get dirty with conventional oil. Go ahead and make the switch. I suggest using the same weight oil you are currently using, flush oil and filter again after you normally would, then increase the flush interval to 7500 miles from that point forward.

Make sure your 'flame trap' is clean.
