Dave,

I agree with jlfox.

I have been using the black tape for 2 years!

Cut a small square of black electrical tape and paste it over the Service Indicator light, which sits in the far R loer corner of the instrument board.

Works for me.

I believe the Service Indicator light is one trick that car makers do to lure you into dealership.

One way to keep them rich.

A responsible driver will always maintain the car according to the maintenance book, without the need for this stupid reminder light.
