HELP steering gear removal 850 1997

Answering my own question: I ended up removing the rear steering fluid pipe retaining clip from the pipes (Torx 25). Haynes said only to unbolt this clip from the rear subframe member (i.e. leaving the clip itself attached to the pipes). However the clip kept getting entangled with other stuff, which is why I removed entirely. This allowed me to move the pipes out of the way, and I was finally able to remove the steering rack from the vehicle! Now, on to installing the new one.
