Hi Herb,

As Klaus mentioned, the refurbished units from www.xemodex.com are the way to go. I considered buying a 2000 V70 and that's what I would have done if the car's ETM went south.

Have you considered a 98 V70? Last year with a cable. I bought an 850, but if I were to buy a V70 I would shoot for a 98. Very good year.
