Thanks to all who have replied.

Considering the fact that trade in value is about $1500 US less than I owe in the car, and I do enjoy driving it, plus the fact that the doorlock and seal are covered, I have decided to go thru with the repairs. The seat rails will wait (although not too long as I consider them a safety issue in the event of an accident). And the strut mounts i'll do with a friend.
