The torque spec in my cars' owners manual (on the page that

tells you how to change a spare) says 81 lb/ft as I recall.

I know it is not 100 (is 100 in the torque wrench manual?).

Now, how they expect you to torque the nuts when changing

a spare, I don't know (anyone's emergency toolkit have a

torque wrench).
