continued ABS module issues even after repairs V70-XC70

I repaired my ABS module DIY style back in decemember. It all ran beautifully for months to the point where I almost was about to believe the issue had been fixed, then last week the same old ABS module $hit starts to happen again. Is it possible that extreme heat over the past few weeks has caused the soldered joints to fail... also, I have read about issues with the actual connection between the harness and the module.. Before I take this thing off again and crack it open, could it be the harness connection? I hear these are very sensitive...
temperatures the past week in Georgia have been brutal, sometimes I'd start the car in the shade and get a 50 deg C+ reading on the dash thermometer..... I must also note that the harness connector is broken at this point, so I have been trying to jerry rig something to try and keep it from jostling around.
