continued problems door latch/no start 850

You need to get a cheap multimeter to find where the power drain is. Most likely a poor connection at the battery or a short in the wiring system, or, even the electrical portion of the ignition switch (which is an 'easy' fix).

Hook the multimeter to the battery and start pulling fuses, 1 by 1, to find the component that is drawing power.
