shyam, study the ECC section of your manual (or if you don't have it download it from the link below). I think the blinking REC simply indicates that it's been manually changed to REC to override the automatic change-from-recirculating-to-fresh-air function (I learned of this on this board, earlier posts). There's a simple way to get the default function back, but I don't recall what it is. Search the board, the manual, or maybe someone else will know. I don't think it's a major problem though.
