2.4 vs 2.5T block V70-XC70

You can use a turbo block with a NA head, but I would not use a NA block with a turbo. The NA wrist pins and bearings are not up to the task of the increased combustion pressures.

Why not just get a whole engine for the same year? There are plenty available at junk yards - some people never learn how to drive regardless of what they buy.
