Measure the distance between the plastic radiator and the current location of the clamp, top and bottom. You want the clamps in the exact same place. Do NOT overtighten the clamps, that's plastic you are working with. The hoses need to be snug to the point of not twisting when you try.
Just let all of the antifreeze pour out of the bottom hose, do not bother with the drains on the block or radiator. It's a little messy so have a large pan to catch 2 gallons of fluid or so.
