Neutral safty switch disassembly / not the micro shift lock switch 850 1995

I've ordered a new neutral safty switch and I'm in the process of changing it. It's located on top of the automatic transmission and has the shift cable attachment arm on it. It has a 2 piece male plug that is incased in a plastic cover. I can't figure out how to get it apart with out damaging the plastic cover and making it non useable. Any techs that have accomplished this may know the secret. thanks, Drifter
