Door Lock Ice 850 1996

When it is particularly cold, my driver side door freezes. I must use the passenger side (which works fine). I assume there is a good lubricant which could be used to remedy this problem. Any ideas, I'd hate to use the wrong thing, and have to clean it all out or worse replace the lock cylinder.
