This is all purely speculation, but here are a couple of guesses. Fuel pump relay (was common on the 240's I had) Bad ignition coil/power stage (once had a chevy that wouldn't start when warm because resistance increased when the coil got hot) Faulty wiring and/or cam position sensor. Ditto for a crankshaft position sensor. Fuel pressure regulator?...the list could go on and on. Maybe you could try another dealership, as they might have a fresh approach to your problem.
