Go ahead and use it, just make sure you have a container to hold 5 quarts+. You will probably not get the last of the sludge on the bottom, but that's OK. The oil must be warm, not cold.

You will still have to crawl under the car to repl the filter...

A large piece of cardboard works wonders!
