PS Pump? S70 1998

Ha, ha. Your 'short' commute was actually better with the Amazon. Your C70 takes a while to get the engine up to operating temps, and the fuel injection will run very rich until then. Still, 14mpg is pretty low.

I would suspect a dirty front O2 sensor replacement would bring the mileage back up to par. But as the temps get colder, your mileage will decrease due to the longer time for the engine to heat up.

We have a couple of long hills around here where I used to get 99mpg on the computer. That number dropped to around 80 when the O2 sensor was getting old.

Getting the PS pump out is a royal pain, the bolts are hard to get to. Be prepared to cuss out the design engineers. I suggest using a synthetic PS fluid, you only need one bottle anyway, it will make life easier for the pump.

I have to get back to my 220 now that the OD has been fixed. It needs a new gas filler hose and brake fluid flush.
