Hi,
My experience from last winter: we put the General Tire winters on the 03 XC70 last January & found that the car had a fairly severe front end vibration after about 6k. I took the car in to a tire shop to get them balanced thinking that might be the problem. Turned out that it was tread separation on 3 out of 4 tires. A little scary!!
I`m putting on either Blizzaks or Nokian`s this winter. The traction on ice & snow on the General Tires winters was good, felt secure there.
