I am in the middle of doing a tune-up right now on my '96 850 GLT. Things to consider:

On non-turbo, clean the flame trap and the trottle body, at least the clean the trottle body from the exterior side with a good aerosol cleaner. I claned a lot of gunk and crud from mine this morning.

Do a compression test. This will indicate the health of the engine at the start of it's history with you.

Lubricate the little things: linkage points, threads etc to make things easier for yourself in the future.
