Alfredo,

Having worked with car audio for the past six years i've seen this in many cars with lots of electrics in them. I too noticed this in the S40, of course the only thing was that my S40 didn't have anything big, just the bone stock tape deck system. Since I am in the process of installing a a totally new soundsystem my first upgrade was the battery. I switched to an Optima red top (see my website for the work) and I thought this would take care of the current surge but nope. Obviously these cars have many electrics that eat up alot of juice, it does bother me but not to the point where i'm going to make Volvo give me headaches.

Oh man I can't wait till I get the new system in !! LOL!!
