Amazing stuff if, as has been stated, you have the time.

But to each his own.

Allot of people ask about the discrepancy and wonder how this could be seeing as how all the stuff is electronic. It could be the way the actual drive motor to the speedo gets it's signal from the ECU. I would think its a variable current or a PWM(pulse width modulated, square wave). But I have no proof so I'll let it go for now.

I don't think Volvo does it to rip you off on your warranty, but you never know it might save them a few bucks.

In Canada the DOT allows a maximum of ten percent of indicated speed.
