They did in 98. Best bet is to look at Volvo website for the UK.

Try www.volvocars.com and pick United Kingdom as the country.

Volvo North America sends out a magazine (I think quarterly). In

98 they had an article about the S70 that was originally written for

the UK market. The pictures were all of an S70R but the text never

mentioned the model (or called it a T5). It had a 160 MPH speedo,

different front air dam, looked lower, different wheels and I believe

it uses a viscous coupling for the transmission to reduce whell hop.
