I would give xemodex a call on Monday and ask for the price and availibility.

Yes, it probably is a result of weak soldering and high heat, which is why xemodex installs a new heatsink. But their repair will be a significant improvement over what is in there now.

Remember, if the SRS light comes on and stays on as you remove the DIM, it will not clear later. And only the dealer can do that.
