Checking the sunroof for air leaks... S80 2000

...is a simple task.

Get a roll of 1-inch wide masking tape. Put it around the sunroof on the top to completely seal the seal from the roof. Drive at high speed and listen for wind noise; it should be perfectly quite. Stop the car, then start at one corner and remove about 5 inches of tape. Drive again and listen. If there's no wind noise, stop again and take off 5 more inches of tape. Drive & listen, remove, drive & listen, remove.... Pretty soon, you'll find a section of tape that when removed allows an air leak noise to be heard. The section of tape that when removed has uncovered the air leak place on the sunroof.

This same procedure can be used for window air leaks, too.
