I have the same issue, if it is an issue. 3 months after having my evap and receiver/dryer replaced, if I turn on the A/C I always, eventually, hear the now familiar tick/tock sound of the compressor turning on and off. Since the a/c is blowing cold, I just don't know if the compressor cycling is indicative of a problem, or if it is just another Volvo quirk to learn about and love. Could it just be that the electronic climate control is continually adjusting to the cabin temperature? Opinions anyone?
