window switch replacement 850

I guess if you're a whiz at soldering and have some nice tools to do it, you could just replace the switch. However, it is significantly easier to just replace the whole assembly, assuming it is to blame.

How do you know it is the switch and not the wiring/motor/residue on the glass?
