I know all about this. I just had my 98 xc fixed. The dealer needed to flush the transmission and replace the fluid with a special synthetic type. There is a TSB which they have but took three weeks to find after I gave them the number. Now I can't even feel the torque converter locking and unlocking. I have the TSB number at home. Send me an email and I will send it to you.
