LOL, I just finished assembling a Chinese desk for my soon to retire wife. The diagrams make sense to me!

Bracket #8 attches to #5 using a bunch of #9 flange screws.

After using #13 & #14 to hold the bracket to the car, the combined #8 and #5 are held in place by 2 #12s.

Of course, I have never had the opportunity to remove a rear bumper...
