Radiator Fan Stuck ON S60

"Open or short cooling fan 1 relay circuit - Faulty low speed radiator fan relay - Faulty FMC"

Are you sure it was "FMC" and not "FCM" (as in Fan Control Module)? I believe that's where the triggering takes place to provide power to the fan motor - or in other words, the only "relay" sort of device. A heavy gauge red wire provides constant power to the module. In addition, a violet wire runs from the CEM to the module and provides the triggering function based upon what the engine coolant and A/C pressure sensors are telling the CEM. So if the fan is running and there is no signal present in the violet wire, then the module is hanging up and sending power to fan when it shouldn't be. If the violet wire shows a constant signal, like even with a cold engine and no A/C running, then you'll have to look into the coolant temp or A/C pressure sensor as being faulty.

I just went out and looked at my wife's 05 S80. Both the heavy red wire and violet wire (along with a black ground wire) run through a handy little disconnect at the upper RH side of the fan assembly. I will assume your's is like that - it would be a convenient place to test for voltage in the violet wire.
