Look at a Carfax, he should have one for you to look at. You want to know why it was auctioned. Make sure both remotes and keys work, replacements are costly.

Before starting the car, put the cabin blower on 'auto' and the vents on 'auto' and immediately after start, check for blinking lights.

Remember, the timing belt will be at 105K and has probably not been done.
