I'm sure that "Dave the Volvo Tech" is right. NEVERTHELESS, when dealing with Volvo I would not make any assumptions, especially when it comes to the S80. If you must buy this car, then make sure the dealer fixes it FIRST, as a condition of the final sale. If you have a good dealer, that should not be a problem for him.
