Re: susp upgrade 850 1995

i just had bilsteins and swaybars installed on my 95 855T despite all warnings of the ride becoming stiff, harsh, etc. the ride is now stiffer than before, but still tolerable. my old shocks and struts were pretty shot.

handling is greatly improved and the wagon feels even less like a wagon. i would imagine that the improvement would be even more noticable on a sedan.

the shop where i did the work had recommended that i replace the shocks with something other than the bilsteins (too stiff in their experience) and mentioned that the swaybars would be responsible for the bulk of the improvement. all i can say is corners, roundabouts (yes there are some in colorado), and entrance/exit ramps are a lot of fun now.

seth

ps oh yeah i also installed the rear cargo area mat since i am getting a puppy, did it improve my handling as well . . .
