If you mean the upshift arrow, check the level and 'pinkness' of the ATF. Very cold fluid turns to gel and will not flow easily. It could also mean that the PNP switch is getting close to its end of life.

Please check the A-1 and A-6 boxes next time the CEL or arrow is on.
