Hi Nathan,

I am going through the same thing right now.

I can tell you that the I.P.D. chip is far superior.

The pes chip does not account for the transmission and other operations

and the car will think that it is having a failure some where

when you get the ipd chip you get two (hence the price difference)

but it is much better for your car.

read the info on the T.M.E. website
