I recall something in the 700/900 FAQ about fitting power seats into a non-power seat car and the memory not working...

my uninformed guess is that the seat doesn't receive constant power, so the "memory" is wiped each time you shut down the car. Does it work if you set it and re-set it while sitting in the car running?
