Thanks, yeah I meant the strut mount.

I did replace the spring seat with new Volvo XC heavy duty seats. Both original (!) were completely separated from the metal sleeve, shocks were also gone and original at 140K miles. Turned out strut mounts were fine, compared it to the other one and both were the same. Drove car last night and it's a huge improvement, shame PO bought some crappy no name tires.... Thanks for the input.
