Emissions woes S70 1998

Milanomike:

I was thinking the same thing. My mechanic installed the Bosch O2 sensors to try to save me money. I would like to try the Volvo OEM O2 sensors but they are expensive.

The mechanic is blaming the aftermarket CAT saying they don't put enough substrate into the CAT to make it effective. My belief is it is the O2 sensors and I would really like to try the Volvo OEM sensors.

So where do I go from here? Do I contact the rep for the make of the CAT and complain? or do I gamble on O2 sensors?

Thoughts? Suggestions?
